RUF Bark Briquettes have extremely long burning times up to 10-16 hours. It doesn’t mean you can poke them the next morning and they’ll catch fire; it only means that the stove is still reasonably warm and the ashes are glowing. The bark does produce more ash, which increases the heat reserve but also increases the amount of ash that must be disposed of the following day.
